Service Description
UIF registration is the process of registering with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) in South Africa. It is a legal requirement for employers and ensures that employees can receive short-term financial relief if they become unemployed, take maternity or parental leave, or are unable to work due to illness or adoption leave. Once registered, employers deduct a small monthly contribution from employees’ salaries and contribute their portion to UIF. This protects employees during periods of income loss and keeps employers compliant with labour laws.
